We would like to focus on introducing the artists below, who are handled by Sensgallery in Ichihara City, Chiba Prefecture.

The origin of Gallery Dou-San dates back to Dou-San Saito, a military commander during Japan’s Warring States period.

The name “Dou-San” means three roads. We think that “three roads,” in turn, means that a person is born for the sake of the person’s own self, the person’s family, and society. Wouldn’t this interpretation mean that if even one of the three roads is missing, a person will not lead a happy life? We definitely hope that you will attain peace of mind when you purchase a painting that we are introducing you to. In 2020, we are facing the coronavirus, which has created a global crisis that can be called the worst global crisis of this century. Perhaps starting a new project this year amounts to a reckless challenge, but we dare to take that challenge.

画廊名Dou-San来源于日本战国武将斋藤道三。

“道三”是三条道路的意思。我们认为人是为了自己、为了家庭、为了社会而诞生的。缺少其中任何一个，便不能说是生活幸福吧。恳请您一定考虑一下购买我们介绍的画作，也希望通过画作能给您一种更加平和的心境。2020年我们遇到了新冠病毒这一本世纪最大的世界性危机。在这样的一年里开展新事业也许有些莽撞，但我们勇于挑战。

ギャラリーDou-Sanの由来は、日本の戦国武将　斎藤道三から来ています。

「道三」とは三つの道という意味です。個人のため、家族のため、そして社会のために人間は生れて来たのだと思います。

そのどれか一つが欠けても、我々に幸福な生活はないのではないでしょうか。
